Auto-Sync — trades that import themselves
Connect your trading platform once and every closed trade lands in your journal on its own. Platforms, guarantees, and where to set it up.
Auto-Sync connects Axel to your trading platform and imports every closed trade automatically — including the ones you would rather forget, which is exactly why it makes your statistics trustworthy.

The up-to-date list always lives in the Auto-Sync hub itself, and on axeltracker.com/features/integration.
Axel only reads
Whatever the platform, Axel uses an Auto-Sync connection for one thing only: reading your closed-trade history and reporting it to your journal. Axel contains no code that places, modifies or closes orders, and it never moves funds.
One honest detail: some platforms (OANDA, TradeLocker) don’t offer read-only access. For those, the access Axel receives could technically do more on the platform side — the restriction to reading is enforced by Axel’s own code, and that access is kept on our servers, never in your browser. You can remove the connection from the hub, and revoke the access on the platform side as well.
Setting it up
Go to Trades → Auto-Sync. The hub shows every platform; pick yours and follow the wizard — each step is guided inside the app, with the exact instructions and visuals for your platform, which is why this manual doesn’t duplicate them. Most connections take a few minutes, and your trade history is imported on the first sync.
Managing connections
- The hub lists each connected account with its live status.
- Linking: trades import into the journal account you linked — and only into that one. Unlinking stops future imports; already-imported trades stay.
- Disconnecting an account is always available from the hub, and Axel asks for confirmation first.
