The live chart
A real-time TradingView chart inside Axel: per-account preferences, indicators, fullscreen — and its known limits.
Evaluation → Chart embeds a real-time TradingView chart. Forex, gold, crypto and indices stream live; some stock exchanges are delayed (a TradingView free-tier rule, not an Axel one).
Per-account preferences (⚙)
The ⚙ Preferences button sets the chart’s starting state for the current account:
- Default symbol — e.g. XAUUSD for your gold account, NAS100 for your indices account.
- Timeframe — from 1 minute to monthly.
- Style — candles, bars, line, area…
- Indicators — toggle common studies (moving averages, RSI, MACD…).
Each journal account remembers its own chart setup — switching account switches the chart.
Fullscreen
The ⛶ Fullscreen button expands the chart alone (not the whole app). Esc exits.
Known limits (read this once)
Drawings and layouts made inside the chart are not saved across reloads — the free TradingView widget is anonymous and has no cloud save. Your ⚙ preferences (symbol, timeframe, style, indicators) are saved by Axel. For persistent drawings, use your own TradingView account in another tab.
The “Chart by TradingView” attribution under the chart is required by TradingView’s terms and stays put.
