Date ranges & the period filter

Today, week, month, all-time, a precise day, or a custom range — and what obeys the filter.

The five options

The period filter
  • Today — the current trading day.
  • Week — the last 7 days.
  • Month — the last 30 days.
  • All — your entire history.
  • Custom (calendar button) — opens a picker with two modes: a single day, or a start → end range. The range applies as soon as both dates are set.

What follows the filter

Every KPI, chart and widget on the Dashboard — including optional widgets like the heatmap or the drawdown curves. The page subtitle always tells you which period you are looking at.

The balance KPI is the exception: your balance is what it is today, whatever period you display. Its neighbors (P&L, return, win rate) are period-scoped.

Filters elsewhere

The Trades page has its own filter bar (search, dates, outcome, direction, sort) — independent from the Dashboard period. The PDF report also picks its own period in its dialog.
