What Axel stores, what it measures, and the choices made to keep it minimal.
Your trading data
Your trades, notes, settings and psychology entries belong to you. They live in your browser and in your Axel account, and you can export everything at any time (Backup). Auto-Sync only imports closed trades: Axel contains no order-placing code, and your broker password is never stored.
Measurement without cookies
Axel’s analytics are self-hosted, cookieless, anonymize IP addresses and respect the Do-Not-Track signal — which is why the site doesn’t nag you with a cookie banner. Inside the app, only page names are measured: never an account number, a balance, a P&L or the content of a note.
